stats:
approx. 23 lbs
wearing mostly 12 month sized clothing, some 6-9 sized & still size 4 diapers.
feeding update: 4 bottles a day for a total of 28 oz of formula. he is consistently eating three meals a day of table food - and pretty much eats everything you offer him. he is also drinking water and sometimes formula from sippy cups with meals and at day care. bottles are in the morning when he wakes up, around 1030am, 230pm and bedtime. breakfast is around 730, lunch at 1130 and dinner at 430. he started off the month without having much interest in putting food in his mouth. he would pick it up but never bring it to his mouth. now he will grab food off his tray and put it in his mouth - either with his whole hand or using his pincer grasp
sleeping update: sleeping through the night consistently now, with bedtime anywhere from 630-700 and waking up within the 500 hour. he takes two naps a day, one morning and one afternoon. those times range - and are all pretty dependent on when he wakes up for the day. he can make it about three hours from the time he wakes up. we don't have a very specific bedtime routine. sometimes there are baths, sometimes books, sometimes quiet rocking in his bedroom. he still loves his stuffed dog toy, Clarence, and has three other friends in his crib - Hootie (the owl), Yodie (the dog), and Ellie (the elephant). these friends come in handy when he wakes up - because he likes to play with them for a while and even throw them over the edge!
health update:surprisingly we made it the whole month WITHOUT visiting the doctor. he's had a few sniffles and a little bit of a cough on and off - but otherwise, he's been so healthy! and happy!! i feel like we finally got to see the real crosby this past month because we weren't battling the sickies.
new skills and thrills: started crawling (at papa and g'ma v's house) 5/30...shakes his head "no"...knows "more" in sign language...says "dada" and "baba" all the time...clicks his tongue...cruises around furniture...took a few first steps with the walker toy at the cabin...has figured out that pieces fit in puzzles...took first trips to boji...nicknamed "Hercules" at day care...got 5th and 6th took (upper lateral incisors)
